AFSHIN HAMRABADI

Ph.D. Candidate in Economics and Management

I am a researcher in International Business and Strategy working on topics related to subsidiary co-location, risk-taking, and strategic decision-making. I am currently in the fourth (and final) year of my PhD in Economics and Management at the University of Trento. Before that, I was at the University of Parma where I received my MSc in International Business and Development.

I have presented my research papers at several international conferences including the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business, alongside other highly selective events. I have also been a reviewer for the Journal of International Management and several major conferences including AOM, AIB, BAM, EURAM, EIBA, and R&D Management, among others. I co-chaired the R&D Management conference and I currently hold the position of Chair for the Doctoral Student Committee at the Academy of Management’s International Management Division.

I received the Innovation Certificate from the School of Innovation at the University of Trento, as well as the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Economics and Management from the Department of Economics and Management at the same institution.
