Postdoctoral Research Associate
Strategy, International Business, and Technology Expert
Welcome to my personal site!
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Aston Business School, Aston University. My research lies at the intersection of global strategy, international business, and institutional contexts, with a particular focus on how firms navigate uncertainty, performance challenges, and digital environments across countries.
In particular, my work adopts behavioural theories and a quantitative approach to understand firm behavior (especially that of multinational enterprises and their subsidiaries) across diverse institutional settings. I am particularly interested in topics such as subsidiary performance and risk-taking, digital governance, and the role of country-level mechanisms in shaping strategic outcomes.
My research has been published in top-tier journals, including Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Journal of Technology Transfer, and Cross Cultural & Strategic Management, with several ongoing works under advanced review stages at leading journals.

I am also actively engaged in the academic community, serving in roles such as Chair of the Doctoral Student Committee in the International Management Division of the Academy of Management, as well as reviewing for leading journals and conferences in the fields of international business and management.
I hold a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Trento (where I graduated with Distinction and was selected as the Best Graduate of the programme).
