About me
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Aston Business School, Aston University. My research focuses on strategy, particularly behavioural and global strategy, with a particular interest in how firm behaviour and strategic outcomes are shaped by performance dynamics, institutional contexts, and developments in technology and digital infrastructure.
My work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Technology Transfer, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, and Cross Cultural & Strategic Management. I have also received several recognitions for my research, including a Best Paper Award and being selected as a finalist for the Best Paper in Global Strategy Award at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting.
Alongside my research, I have several years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have taught courses in strategy, international business, innovation, organization studies, and corporate governance. In addition, I have several years of experience teaching English, primarily as an IELTS trainer.
I am also actively engaged in the academic community. I have presented my research at major international conferences across North America, Europe, and Asia. I review for leading journals and major conferences, and I contribute regularly to conference organisation. I have also served as Chair of the Doctoral Student Committee in the International Management Division of the Academy of Management, where I supported initiatives aimed at doctoral researchers and the wider scholarly community.
I earned my PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Trento, graduating with Distinction and being selected as the Best PhD Graduate of the programme. Prior to that, I completed my MSc in International Business and Development at the University of Parma.
